NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Former University of Memphis football standout Artis Hicks was announced as a 2022 inductee to the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, sponsored by the Tennessee Lottery. Hicks learned of the honor as he was being inducted into the Memphis M Club Hall of Fame on Saturday.
A native of Jackson, Tenn. who came to the Tigers in the fall of 1998, Hicks started 43 of 44 games on the offensive line that he played during his career, including 2, 717 of the Tigers 2,979 total offensive snaps over his four seasons.
