MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Senior goalkeeper Maryse Bard-Martel and sophomore forward Elizabeth Woerner have been named the American Athletic Conference Players of the Week. Freshman midfielder Jessica Lisi was recognized on the conference's Weekly Honor Roll.
Bard-Martel helped lead the Tigers to a pair of road wins in Texas last weekend, starting with a 3-1 win over SMU. In that win, she made five second-half saves to preserve the lead. She then posted her sixth shutout of the season and the 24th of her career in Sunday's win over Houston. The Boisbriand, Quebec native, finished the weekend with six saves and just one goal allowed.
