The Memphis Grizzlies had solid games from their role players in the Game 3 win.
James Ennis stepped into the starting lineup and excelled. He had 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting and had the main task of defending Kawhi Leonard (18 points on 6-for-11 shooting). JaMychal Green made his way to the bench but supplied the Grizzlies with much-needed energy and hustle. He had eight points, six rebounds and a few emphatic jams.
Surprisingly, the rookies delivered in a playoff game – something we haven’t seen in Memphis in a few years. Wayne Selden had 10 points, connecting on two big 3-pointers and a tomahawk slam that could be heard from Nashville.
