Defense has long been the pride and joy of the Memphis Grizzlies thanks to their grind-it-out mentality and plethora of defensive-minded players including Mike Conley, Tony Allen and Marc Gasol.
However, the team has somewhat regressed this season on that end of the floor, as they have allowed opponents to score over 100 points per game on them on average, leading to a point differential of -5.3, a low point for a franchise predicated on getting stops and forcing other teams to play to their style.
