Grizzlies tame Mavericks, 110-96

The Memphis Grizzlies stayed undefeated in games in which they’ve broken the century mark this season as they held off the Dallas Mavericks 110-96 at FedExForum on Tuesday night.

The Grizz (8-7) were able to pull away in the third quarter, recording a season-high 36 points, before holding off the Mavericks’ (9-6) comeback attempt in the fourth frame.

Memphis also dominated the battle in the paint, outscoring the Mavericks by 26, 48-22.

Jeff Green exploded in the second half for 11 points at a 5-for-7 clip, including a three-pointer. He’d finish the game with 19 points and seven rebounds.
