The No. 5 seed Maryland men's basketball team will face top-seeded Kansas in the Sweet 16 at approximately 9:40 p.m. Thursday, CBS Sports and Turner Sports announced Sunday night.
The Terps will take the floor after No. 2 seed Villanova and No. 3 seed Miami play the West region's first semifinal in Louisville, Ky. That game is set to tip off at 7:10 p.m. on CBS.
Jim Nantz, Grant Hill, Bill Raftery and Tracy Wolfson will cover both games for CBS. The winners will meet Saturday in the Elite Eight.
