The Big Ten released dates and television info for the upcoming men’s basketball season on Thursday, with game-times to be announced at a later date. With that, Maryland‘s entire schedule is set, but here’s a few takeaways on the Terrapins’ slate.
The nonconference schedule is manageable. This slate is somewhat similar to two seasons ago, when Maryland flew under the radar into its inaugural Big Ten campaign and made its first NCAA tournament in five years. There will be parallels drawn between that team and this year’s group, which won’t face the same overwhelming hype it did last season.
