Temple officially announced Friday a home-and-home series with Maryland that will take place in 2018 and 2019. The series was previously reported back in September 2013. There's now confirmation from both schools on the two-game set.
The first game of the series will be in College Park on Sept. 15, 2018. The next season, the Terps will travel to Philadelphia to take on the Owls on Sept. 14, 2019.
Maryland holds a 7-1 advantage over Temple in the schools' eight meetings, all of which have come since 1997. The teams last played a home-and-home in 2011 and 2012, with Temple dealing Maryland a 38-7 loss in College Park during former coach Randy Edsall's disastrous first season and the Terps returning the favor a year later on the road with a 36-27 victory.
