Maryland senior linebacker Abner Logan will be transferring for his final season, announcing the decision on Instagram on Sunday.
While Maryland officials have yet to confirm Logan’s plan to leave Maryland, the senior linebacker confirmed via text message that he will transfer. That followed a lengthy Instagram post that detailed his future plans.
While Logan sat out last season after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament during the first week of fall camp and was continuing to nurse the injury during spring practice, he appeared to be on track with his rehabilitation and in position to compete for a starting role in Maryland’s defense come August.
