Maryland football’s Lorenzo Harrison and D.J. Turner charged in BB gun incident

Maryland football freshmen Lorenzo Harrison and D.J. Turner have each been charged with three counts of second degree assault and reckless endangerment in connection with a BB gun incident on campus, the University of Maryland Police Department announced Wednesday.

The two were suspended for a “student code of conduct violation” before Maryland’s loss to Ohio State last week, along with fellow freshman Antoine Brooks. Brooks was not charged and his suspension has been lifted, according to the Washington Post’s Roman Stubbs.

DJ Durkin didn’t have any update on the suspensions when speaking to the media on Tuesday.
