Maryland Football: Tayon Fleet-Davis commits to Maryland

Maryland’s recruiting weekend seems to be having a tremendous amount of success in the early going.

On Saturday afternoon, Potomac (Md.) running back Tayon Fleet-Davis committed to the Terrapins. This comes just minutes after Gonzaga (D.C.) center Johnny Jordan announced his intentions to pledge to Maryland.

Fleet-Davis is a three-star recruit that chose Maryland over Syracuse and a host of Big Ten schools including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Purdue, and Rutgers. Syracuse was the presumed favorite before he named the Terps as the favorite late last month.

With the additions of Fleet-Davis and Jordan, Maryland received a huge boost in the recruiting rankings.
