Former Maryland cornerback Josh Wilson will be returning to the DMV for a prominent coaching position.
DeMatha Catholic (Md.) head coach Elijah Brooks announced that Wilson will be the team’s new defensive backs coach on his Instagram page.
Wilson has spent the last nine years in the NFL playing for the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, and Washington Redskins. He most recently suited up for the Lions in 2015.
Prior to his NFL career, Wilson played his college football at Maryland. He played in 11 games as a true freshman and was a starter over his final two seasons in College Park.
