Maryland Football: Abner Logan leaves program

After having three defensive stars selected in the NFL Draft over the weekend, Maryland was dealt a devastating blow on Sunday.

Linebacker Abner Logan announced on his Instagram page that he is leaving the program. Logan was a projected starter for defensive coordinator Andy Buh‘s unit in 2016.

Logan missed the 2015 season with a torn ACL and hasn’t played a ton at Maryland, despite being a highly regarded recruit during Randy Edsall‘s tenure.

In 2013 as a true freshman, Logan registered 37 tackles (22 solo) and a fumble recovery in eight games for the Terrapins.
