Maryland Basketball: Surveying the bracketology

The Maryland basketball team suffered their most deflating loss last week.

With that in mind, the Terrapins dipped a bit in most bracketology projections.

Maryland fell four spots in the latest Associated Press poll to No. 10. The Terps are now third in terms of the highest rated Big Ten teams in the rankings.

ESPN’s Joe Lunardi updated his bracketology field on Monday and he currently has Maryland as a No. 3 seed in the Midwest Region. In this scenario, the Terps would travel to Providence and face No. 14 UNC-Wilmington.

The Seahawks currently are 21-6 (13-3) and are in first place in the CAA with a one game lead over Hofstra.
