On Tuesday evening, the former Terrapin was named to the Southern League North Division All-Star Team. Wade was one of five Chattanooga Lookouts to earn All-Star honors at the Double A level.
The 2017 Southern League All-Star Game is set to take place on June 20 in Pensacola, Fla.
In 53 games this season, Wade is hitting .288 with four home runs and 23 RBIs while walking 39 times (second in the Southern League). The Baltimore native also has a .419 on-base percentage (team-high) and a .412 slugging percentage.
Wade’s five steals are good for second on the Lookouts.
