HUNTINGTON – Marshall men’s team won its 12th game in Conference USA play by rallying from a 23-point hole in the first half to take a 108-106 win over Southern Miss in overtime at the Cam Henderson Center on Saturday night in front of a rowdy crowd of 6,431 to push Marshall’s attendance over 76,000 this season.
The Herd earned a 3-seed in the upcoming Conference USA Tournament in Birmingham, Ala., drawing a double-bye on the first two rounds thanks to the win and WKU upsetting Louisiana Tech in overtime later in the evening.
