HUNTINGTON — Austin Loop and Stevie Browning fought shooting slumps last week in Marshall’s two games, and it wasn’t about bad form.
Even if it was, there are extenuating factors. The dog days of February are dogging those two and some teammates.
“We’ve been sick, sick and hurt,” said Thundering Herd coach Dan D’Antoni. “Stevie’s had back spasms, C.J. [Burks] was out [Monday] with the aches and pains, Loop’s been fighting through the aches and pains. We had Ryan [Taylor] miss a day.
“We’ve been going through nothing that just knocks you down, but ones that you’re not playing at 100 percent.
