Ahmad Bradshaw heads new Marshall Athletics Hall of Fame class

Related Topics: Ahmad Bradshaw, Super Bowl XLVI

One of Marshall’s greatest running backs, the NCAA’s leading single-game 3-point bomber and a member of the Thundering Herd’s greatest basketball team were part of the new class to be inducted into the MU Athletics Hall of Fame.

They will be honored at 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 in the Don Morris Room of the Memorial Student Center, and will be the guests of honor the next day at the Herd’s football game with Kent State.

Ahmad Bradshaw didn’t set the Herd’s all-time rushing record, but he could be considered the finest back ever.

He rushed for 1,523 yards in 2006, the most by a back in the school’s Division I-A/FBS era.
