Marquette Women’s Basketball Officially Announces The Transfer Of Tori McCoy

On Wednesday, Marquette women’s basketball made it official: Former McDonald’s All-American Tori McCoy has transferred and joined the Golden Eagles after one season at Ohio State.

McCoy is a 6’4” forward from Champaign, Illinois, who had originally considered Marquette during her recruitment before settling on Ohio State. She averaged 8.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game and made her way onto the Big Ten’s All-Freshman Team. McCoy wasn’t happy with her role with the Buckeyes, though, and has moved on to Marquette with the hopes of being able to play a more versatile part.
