Tottenham hand Yaya Toure his first job in English football as he is appointed as their new Under-16 coach... with Manchester United's Class of '92 scholar Simon Davies also part of academy shake-up

Tottenham have announced some high-profile changes to their academy set-up, with the likes of Yaya Toure and Jermain Defoe joining the coaching ranks.

They have also appointed Simon Davies, a member of the famous 'class of 92' Manchester United youth side, as Head of Coaching Methodology.

Davies is the most experienced coach of the new appointments, having spent time managing Anderlecht and the Manchester City academy.

Toure arrives at Hotspur Way with a wealth of experience as a player after winning 13 major trophies as a player, including three Premier Leagues, a Champions League and an African Cup of Nations.
