Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has provided a key update on his squad ahead of Wednesday's final Old Trafford clash of 2023/24, against Newcastle United.
The Reds are in must-win territory, if we are to qualify for European competition via our league position, while the Magpies, who, along with Chelsea, sit three points above Ten Hag's men in the table, know a victory would ensure they finish ahead of us for the first time in Premier League history.
Even a home win for United would only bring us level on points with the north-east side, with a much inferior goal difference, but we could still hope for a chance to overtake them on the last day.
