Extreme Networks became the club's official Wi-Fi network solutions and Wi-Fi analytics provider last year, with a commitment to deliver the latest generation of Wi-Fi connectivity around our famous stadium for the hundreds of thousands of fans who visit the Theatre of Dreams each season.
The scale of the project has been huge, with over 1,600 access points installed – the largest of its kind in the UK, utilising under-seat Wi-Fi 6 technology. Over 4,000 holes have been drilled, over 10,000 seats temporarily removed and replaced, and over 90 miles of cabling installed across the stadium, delivering the latest generation of wireless connectivity for fans attending the biggest domestic football stadium in England.
