Italy boss Roberto Mancini 'could be an option' to take over as Manchester United manager in the summer and is 'tempted' by a return to the Premier League.

The Old Trafford hierarchy are currently searching for a long-term successor to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with interim boss Ralf Rangnick in charge until the end of the season before he takes on a consultancy role.

Mauricio Pochettino has been heavily linked with the vacancy, along with Ajax's Erik ten Hag and Spanish duo Luis Enrique and Julen Lopetegui.
