The quarter-final was a tense affair, with the Reds having two goals ruled out for offside and being forced to play 30 minutes of extra-time before eventually defeating the Danish outfit 1-0 with a penalty by Bruno Fernandes, following a foul on Anthony Martial in the area.
United will return to the same venue, Stadion Koln, for Sunday's semi-final. Kick-off will be at 20:00 BST and the opponents will be either Sevilla or Wolverhampton Wanderers, who lock horns in Duisburg on Tuesday night.
