Ralf Rangnick challenges out-of-sorts Marcus Rashford to win back his Man United place after England striker didn't start derby defeat to City despite Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani injuries

Ralf Rangnick has challenged Marcus Rashford to win back his place in the Manchester United team amid speculation over his future at Old Trafford.

Rashford started last weekend's Manchester derby on the bench even though Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Mason Greenwood were unavailable, and made little impact when he came on in the second half.

It continued a disappointing run of form for the England international who appears to have fallen behind teenager Anthony Elanga in the pecking order since Rangnick took over as interim boss.
