Paul Pogba Criticised by Eamon Dunphy After Manchester United vs. Arsenal

Ex-Republic of Ireland international Eamon Dunphy has stated that Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba "doesn't understand the game" in the aftermath of the 1-1 draw with Arsenal at the weekend.

In a match the Red Devils dominated and went ahead in through Juan Mata, the Gunners grabbed a late equaliser via Olivier Giroud, who thumped a header home after some fine wing play from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Marcus Rashford was criticised for allowing Oxlade-Chamberlain past late in the game, although Dunphy believes Pogba could have done more to help out.

“[Pogba] should have been giving [Rashford] cover, he didn’t bother, he just stood there because he doesn’t really understand the game,” the controversial pundit told 2fm (h/t Goal).
