United, much like their Northern rivals Liverpool, were heading to the Middle East for a warm-weather training camp having come out the other end of a hectic festive period in need of a break.
And as Rojo made himself at home in his seat on United's plane during their early-morning flight, the Portuguese star couldn't resist showing off his tartan slippers, worth £675, on his Instagram story.
