Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho vows to give Antonio Conte silent treatment after war of words: 'Contempt means end of the story'

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says he will bring an end to his war of words with Antonio Conte, but vowed to treat his Chelsea counterpart with 'contempt' from now on.

The two Premier League managers have been trading insults in press conferences ever since Conte took charge of Chelsea in 2016 with the latest exchange falling to bitter accusations of match-fixing among others.

But following Conte's latest insult, in which he described Mourinho as a 'little man', the Portuguese has vowed to stay silent from now on.
