Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has hit out at "distorted" claims from the media who he accused of twisting his words.
Pogba, 23, was left unhappy with how the media had taken his tongue-in-cheek response of how he "went on holiday [to Juventus] and just came back" which he had made at an event during the week.
Juventus director Beppe Marotta laughed off Pogba's comment and said "we want to be good-hearted in interpreting what one says," but parts of the media had suggested it showed disrespect to the Serie A champions.
"Everything can be distorted," Pogba wrote on social media.
