Man United: Rio Ferdinand says managers might choose other clubs than be part of rebuilding process

Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has insisted he can't see a positive ending to the current campaign for his former side.

Ralf Rangnick's side were booted out of the Champions League with a 2-1 aggregate defeat to reigning LaLiga champions Atletico Madrid.

United will finish the campaign without a trophy but still have something to fight for, in terms of the race to make the top four and make sure they're back in the Champions League next season.
