Man United promote SIX youngsters to their Champions League squad to face Young Boys... with Robbie Savage's son Charlie amongst them and BT Sport pundit admitting he was 'tearing up' at seeing him on the bench

Robbie Savage admitted on BT Sport that he was 'tearing up' after his son Charlie was named amongst the substitutes for Manchester United's clash against Young Boys in their final group game in the Champions League.

Charlie, who put pen-to-paper on a professional contract with the Red Devils back in April, could make his debut on match day six of Europe's elite competition.

The 18-year-old midfielder has come through the youth ranks and was named alongside fellow teammates Bjorn Hardley, 18, Charlie Wellens, 19, Sam Mather, 17, Zidane Iqbal, 18, and Shola Shoretire, 17, the latter had already played for the first team.
