Juan Mata is available to play for Manchester United in the EFL Cup final on Sunday despite reports in Spain suggesting he would miss the match against Southampton after a family bereavement.
Mata was allowed to return home on Thursday for family reasons and attended the funeral.
The 28-year-old flew back to England on Saturday and rejoined his team-mates in London on Saturday night.
His presence could prove crucial for Jose Mourinho's side after Henrikh Mkhitaryan was ruled out with a hamstring injury sustained in the second-leg Europa League win over St Etienne on Wednesday.
