Bayern Munich director explains why deals like Manchester United's £89m move for Paul Pogba will become even rarer in future transfer windows

Manchester United star Paul Pogba may be the world's most expensive footballer for much longer than many expect. That's if Bayern Munich technical director Michael Reschke's latest prediction proves correct.

Pogba became the world's most expensive player last summer when Manchester United agreed to pay Juventus £89million for his signature, but speculation surrounding Antoine Griezzman suggested the record would not last long.

However, Reschke believes world-record deals like Pogba's will become the exception and not the rule as football gets richer, because clubs likes Atletico Madrid will be better able to resist mega bids.
