Report: Man City ‘convinced’ 29-year-old ‘will sign new contract’, player is ‘staying’

Manchester City are ‘convinced’ Kevin De Bruyne ‘will sign a new contract’ and is ‘staying’ at the Etihad Stadium for the long-term, says Sky Sports and Guardian journalist Fabrizio Romano. The 29-year-old’s existing deal is up in 2023, but it now looks likely that he’ll spend the rest of his career in Manchester.

De Bruyne joined City from Vfl Wolfsburg in 2015 and has gone on to make 253 appearances in all competitions, scoring 64 goals and supplying 105 assists (Transfermarkt).
