Week 5 in the SEC: What to watch for

The SEC takes a backseat to the rest of the college football world this Saturday, but even though there aren't any top-10 matchups, it doesn’t mean there aren’t still some intriguing storylines.

Here are five things to watch for this weekend in the SEC.

Long live the Mad Hatter: For the first time since New Year’s Day 2005, LSU will have somebody other than Les Miles as its head coach. That’s a span of 4,291 days -- or 11 years and nine months. College football will miss Miles because of his personality and his antics, but LSU must quickly turn its attention to a Missouri team that has one of the more potent offenses in the SEC.
