Laurinburg (N.C.) Scotland County running back Zamir White (6 feet 1, 202 pounds) is the top-ranked player at his position and considered one of the top three recruits overall in the ’18 class. White, who still is a high school sophomore, will be in Baton Rouge on Saturday on an unofficial visit. He was at Georgia on Thursday and reportedly is trying to visit Florida State in the next few days, too.
White has offers from a “who’s who” of schools,” among them Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Nebraska, South Carolina and Tennessee.
As a sophomore last fall, White ran for 2,159 yards and 41 touchdowns.
