Sixty-Two Student-Athletes to Graduate in Spring

BATON ROUGE – Sixty-two student-athletes will receive LSU degrees, as the University will hold spring commencement ceremonies at various venues across campus on Friday and Saturday.

Football's John David Moore, a First-Team Academic All-American, received the University Medal as one of LSU's graduates with the highest grade-point average. The Ruston, Louisiana, native earned a 4.0 GPA in architecture. Moore became the first LSU football player to earn the University Medal since Rudy Niswanger in 2005.

Baseball's Austin Ross, Ryan Schimpf and Anthony Ranaudo all completed their undergraduate degrees to complement their careers in professional baseball.
