Miami's Jarvis Landry hosts camp at Lutcher, creates academic scholarship

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry, a former standout at LSU, returned home to Lutcher High School on Friday for his second annual "Jarvis Landry GiveBack" mentoring event, which hosted roughly 100 boys from around St. James Parish.

While at the event, Landry unveiled his Building Winners Academic Scholarship that will be awarded annually to one graduating senior at Lutcher for the amount of $5,000.

"Lutcher High School and the entire community had such a positive influence on my life and this is a continuation of what I want to do to make sure I am giving back to them," Landry said.
