LSU suspends G Josh Boutte for game because of late hit

BATON ROUGE, La. – What should have been made official within minutes after LSU’s game against Wisconsin now is official: Tigers starting guard Josh Boutte will sit out for his late hit in the Tigers’ 16-14 loss to Wisconsin.

LSU announced in a release Monday that coach Les Miles has suspended Boutte for this week’s game against Jacksonville State after Boutte leveled Badgers defensive back D’Cota Dixon following an interception.
