LSU Softball snaps losing streak with 9-1 victory

A six run sixth inning broke LSU out of its offensive slump as the Tigers snapped their three-game losing streak, beating Southeastern Louisiana 9-1.

With the Tigers leading 2-1 in the sixth inning, RBI's from Sandra Simmons, Kellsi Kloss, and Constance Quinn would push the score to 6-1. Sydney Bourg and Quinn would score on separate Lion error's, concluding the Tiger offense for the inning.

The Tigers offensive MVP was Simmons who went 4-of-5 with two RBI, including the first and last runs LSU would score, and two runs scored. Other notable performances includes Constance Quinn going 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored and Sahvanna Jaquish reaching base four times, scoring once.
