LSU is getting an early jump on a future signing class.
On Friday, 2019 offensive tackle Kardell Thomas, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana native, committed to the Tigers. He made his announcement on Twitter.
Thomas, a rising sophomore at Southern Laboratory School on the Southern University campus, made his commitment following the second day of LSU’s high school camp Friday, according to Geaux247.
The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Thomas is not yet rated by any of the major recruiting services but appears poised to become a top prospect at his position. LSU offered him earlier this month.
In addition to the Tigers, Jackson State also has offered Thomas.
