When the Georgia Dome’s lights go out for the final time Sunday following the NFC Championship Game, it will bring darkness upon a building that witnessed some of the brightest moments in LSU football history.
Beginning with a 10-7 victory over Clemson in the 1996 Peach Bowl, LSU would go 9-2 in the Georgia Dome, a record which includes four SEC Championship Game wins, four bowl wins and a victory over North Carolina in the 2010 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Classic.
