No. 10 – A Ten Win Season
There was a time in college football when racking up 10 victories during a season was a commendable achievement.
Then collegiate schedules were expanded to twelve regular season games, conference title games became commonplace and the bowl season ballooned to over 40 games.
But in the minds of many college football fans and media pundits, achieving a double-digit win season is still considered at least a minimal bench mark for a successful season.
Les Miles and the LSU football program have failed to reach that hallowed 10-win mark the past two seasons.
