LSU football has been known to show strong support for law enforcement. The Tigers continued this for fallen East Baton Rouge deputy Shawn Anderson by lighting their iconic stadium blue.
Anderson was recently shot and killed while investigating a possible rape. The funeral service to honor the Sheriff’s deputy will be held on Thursday.
LSU coach Ed Orgeron spoke at the Beyond The Badge 2017 Heart of Law Enforcement Awards on Tuesday. The Tigers have lit their stadium blue in the past, when three area officers were gunned down in July 2016.
