The LSU Tigers received some positive news on the recruiting front on Tuesday, securing a commitment from four-star offensive line prospect Willie Allen.
Allen, 6-foot-7, 300-pound offensive tackle, towers above the competition — as well as his future teammates from the class of 2016. Allen is rated by 247sports as the No. 15 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 9 overall prospect from the state of Louisiana.
LSU head coach Les Miles has high aspirations for the John Curtis Christian High School (New Orleans, La.) product, calling Allen the ‘missing piece’ for the Tigers.
