Haleigh Bryant earned the 2024 Honda Sport Award for gymnastics Friday. The award is given to “the best of the best in collegiate athletics” in each of 12 NCAA-sanctioned women’s sports and is open to all athletes. This contrasts with the AAI Award which is only open to seniors and beyond. By winning this award, she’s a finalist for the 2024 Honda Cup alongside the other 11 winners. The award ceremony airs live on CBS Sports Network Monday, June 24, at 6:00 p.m.
Haleigh won the award over Oklahoma’s Jordan Bowers, Oregon State’s Jade Carey and Florida’s Leanne Wong.
