The SEC is often said to have some of the best athletes in college football, so it’s no surprise that two of its preeminent players ranked high on a list supporting such a claim.
Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett and LSU running back Leonard Fournette ranked No. 1 and No. 3 overall in a compilation put out by NFL.com earlier this week of college football’s 16 “most freakish athletes.”
Garrett, an early favorite to go with the first overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, has posted double-digit sack totals (11 and 11.5) in each of his first two seasons with the Aggies.
