BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes (CCACSA) recognizes six athletes for their scholastic and community achievements each month. Five student-athletes are chosen based on their commitment to academic success, while the Life Skills honoree is selected for their devotion to volunteerism and service to the community.
Here are the January 2019 CCASA's staff Student-Athletes of the month:
• Faustine Aifuwa, Jr., Women’s Basketball, Dacula, Georgia (Major: Interdisciplinary Studies)
Nominator – Senior Associate Director Carole Walker: “Faustine earned the highest semester grade point average of her career at LSU in the Fall, which was also the top individual GPA for the team last semester.
