Bouncing back strong is the focus as LSU heads to Auburn after close-call loss Oklahoma

Sports hangovers are tough to gauge. Sometimes they come and go, sometimes they linger.

LSU can't afford to let the malaise of a tantalizingly close loss to No. 1-ranked Oklahoma drag on. Not with a new week set to launch Tuesday night on the road.

The Tigers (13-8, 6-2 SEC) close out the first round of conference play against Auburn (9-11, 3-5) at 6 p.m. on The Plans (SEC Network).

There was so much buildup leading into the showdown with OU that a letdown was inevitable, win or lose. That the Tigers had a double-digit lead in the second half and let it slip through their grasp in a 77-75 loss only adds to the difficulty in bouncing back.
