Ankle injury continues to keep Leonard Fournette out of practice

Leonard Fournette continued to be absent from LSU football practice for a second day as he rehabs an ankle injured this past Saturday against Auburn. Fournette was largely held in check by an Auburn defense which he humiliated a season ago, rushing for 101 yards on 16 carries with a long of 35-yards and no touchdowns.

Fournette injured his ankle in the fourth quarter after taking an unusual hit and landing awkwardly. He immediately writhed in pain on the field before hobbling off. He would return to the game shortly after.

Fournette injured the ankle during fall camp and re-aggravated it during the opening weekend loss to Wisconsin.
